Stacking Cable STACK-T1-50CM sử dụng công nghệ StackWise-480 mới nhất của Cisco. Công nghệ StackWise-480 của Cisco được xây dựng trên công nghệ StackWise hàng đầu của ngành công nghiệp, là một cấu trúc xếp chồng cao cấp. StackWise-480 có băng thông stack là 480 Gbps. StackWise - 480 sử dụng Cisco IOS Software SSO để cung cấp khả năng phục hồi trong ngăn xếp.
Trong 1 stack, 1 switch được chọn là Swich Active. Switch được Active sẽ tự động chọn một switch làm switch dự phòng trong stack. Switch được Active tạo và cập nhật tất cả thông tin chuyển mạch / định tuyến / không dây và liên tục đồng bộ hóa thông tin đó với switch dự phòng. Nếu Switch được acrive bị lỗi, switch dự phòng sẽ đảm nhận vai trò của switch active và tiếp tục giữ cho ngăn xếp hoạt động. Access points tiếp tục duy trì kết nối trong quá trình chuyển đổi hoạt động sang chế độ chờ.
Stacking Cable STACK-T1-50CM sử dụng được cho dòng switch Cisco 3850 series với chiều dài là 50cm.
